Career and Technical Education (CTE)

 

The State Plan for Career and Technical Education was developed to offer effective career and technical education programs that prepare students for further education and eventual employment. 


 The plan is based on the premise that:
  • a rigorous academic foundation contributes to success in school and life
  • all students should be provided equal opportunities to succeed
  • career and technical education should complement and enhance academic preparation enabling students to apply academic principles to a variety of community and career situations. 

Lancaster ISD offers career and technical education programs in the following Career Clusters and Pathways for the 2016-2017 School Year:
