I began my teaching career in Dallas ISD in 2006 and have been an educator since that time. Having taught every grade level, I find that no matter the age students have one thing in common: they want to be challenged and will rise to meet expectations. I am never less than amazed to see what students will produce given the opportunity and the expectation to be great.
My class motto is We grow in our struggle to be better. I want my students to understand that it's okay not to be perfect. Growth comes through the struggle, but it's never okay not to try.

“Treat people as if they were what they ought to be and you help them to become what they are capable of being.” ― Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
