Suzanne O'Donnell's Introduction

Spanish 2 Teacher (10th - 12th grade)
Lancaster High School

B.A. in Spanish with minor in French, University of North Texas 2014; M.A. in Spanish, minor in French, University of North Texas (in process)

Lancaster ISD
Volunteer Tutor at UNT of Spanish and French.

I joined Lancaster in 2014 as a Spanish 2 teacher. My previous experience was in food service management, where I learned the vital importance of being bilingual in today's world.

I graduated from UNT Summa Cum Laude. I was on the Deans List at Tarrant County College and received special recognition in Spanish from my Spanish professor there.

I have been passionate about languages and teaching them for many years. Spanish has become my first love in that regard. It is my uniform experience that knowledge of another language opens up worlds of immeasurable value - of knowledge, of friendship, cultural discovery, self-discovery, and personal success. I desire to inspire my students to begin the same journey of discovery.

My personal interests include dance (jazz, Latin and hip-hop), yoga, music, and reading, and cooking. :)
